iSUBSCRiBE offers 3D Secure which is an XML-based protocol used as an added layer of security for online credit & debit card transactions.
It is often more commonly known as Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.
3D Secure adds another authentication step for online payments that gives extra protection for piece of mind when shopping online.
Once signed up, customers are protected whenever they make an online payment with Visa, MasterCard or Maestro card at any participating website.
First there will be a personal message – a message that you provided when you signed up for 3D Secure and that only you and your bank know about. This demonstrates that the security screen the cusotmer is seeing is genuine.
Then the customer will be asked to enter the chosen password (each and every time thereafter).
